swam up on Varney Point. She didn't stay but a day. First time I've seen one here in 9 years. Apr 21, 2014

She didn't mind me following her. I kept my distance.

Her cries out to her mother were unsettling but Mother Nature is a B*

I hope your not asking where Grassy Pond is because you want to hunt this moose. He is our pet so we would be very upset. Grassy Pond is surrounded by Lake Winnipesaukee. It is near Black Cat Island.

No hunting in my blood. I am just dying to see one. My entire family has seen them and the big joke for years has been trying to get me to see a moose. We drive around at dusk sometimes in search but nothing yet. They even offered to take me to moose Alley in Pittsburgh NH but thats like going to the aqaurium to see a fish. I have seen deer and bear enough, I just want to see a moose

Go for a snowmobile ride up north with me next winter. The only problem I have with them is I tend to hit them when they jump out in front of me.
