38' Bear Island Steamer
Found this about two weeks ago. 56' feet of water. Unless I'm mistaken the trenching and holes around the wreck are from cusk. I have seen it alot but never knew what it was. Informed sources tell me it's cusk.
I felt around for a prop in the mud found nothing. But obviously it was scuttled. Some steamers or really, really old gas-driven boats I've found have props or bronze rudders still in place. http://youtu.be/P0TvQyH4P2U |
