Default Fact of the lake

For those who have live on the lake all their lives, rafting in front of the property is a fact of life. It's been done for decades.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, Squam Lake is not too far North.

I have lived on the lake my whole life. I have to say I don't remember people rafting at least like they do today. I like the activity of the lake. I am just saying I would not like a hundred boats in front of my place. A few is ok.

I can see this becoming a huge issue in the future. When a lakefront owner says something like I just did, the rafters jump on them. It is a very contentious subject.
