Default Metal Fabrication

Does anybody have a recommendation for a local metal fabricator that works with sheet copper? I am looking to have copper wrapped around my existing range hood and so far have not been successful in finding some body around here that does that kind of work.

Default Sheet metal

Caswell & Son in Winnisquam on Bay Street. They can fabricate anything out of sheet metal.

Thank you. They are actually the one and only that I have heard of but several attempts to get a quote via both phone and email have gone unanswered. Seems to be the MO of a lot of contractors in this area.

Default same story...

I needed some copper flashing made up and after several attempts got hold of Caswell only to be told "2-3 weeks minimum, maybe longer"...

Not sure where your homebase is, but I found and excellent guy close to Nashua that did a fantastic job, right to spec, delivered in 24 hours, and priced less than the Caswell quote...

Let me know if you'd like further details if you're close enough to Nashua to make it work

Default Still searching?

Hello:

I have a lead, if you are still searching:
Steve Hayden
Steven Hayden Arts
Meredith, NH
www.haydenarts.com

He created a copper hood for one of the houses in last year's Parade of Homes. It was a home by Cargill Construction.
Steve's work is in demand, so just a warning that this usually means waiting to get on his schedule.
I hope this link will work. It has images of some copper hoods that are on his facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5432471&type=3
