Wnat a busy intersection. All that traffic and the long tourist boats having to back up to make it through the narrow lane under the bridge and no accidents!!!

I'm trying to picture the Weirs channel with an intersecting channel like in the video on a busy Sunday afternoon!

Just imagine all the "Captain Bonehead" posts that would be posted here if we had an intersection like that on Winni!

And the Kicker is, I'm pretty sure that the picture is a true "intersection" with bridges on the other two sides as well...

There is no photoshop !

I have actually been there, real nice outdoor café on the corner where you can sit and watch

There are actually a couple of "intersections" like this around Amsterdam .... most not as congested as this one --- looks like it was a Sunday afternoon judging by the water traffic

and yes to your question MGWillia

Default Love to know what the real time was for this segment.

There is no doubt that the intersection is extremely busy, but the speed up on the clip really makes it seem like an accident waiting to happen.

The little bit that I have been down in Florida, I see similar things along the intercoastal, not that busy, but Weirs Channel busy, and people overall tend to be more patient than up here.

In the clip, it looked like there was a whole bunch of common courtesy, and yielding to the larger taxi boats. And seemed like there was a lot of experience among the boaters.

Default Weirs intersection

There is a pretty good intersection in front of Thurston marina when the renters leave and return their pontoon boats!

I have seen many experienced "locals" get messed up there as well, especially in the spring when the current is really going. It's not just pontoon renters that have a hard time pulling out of their service area.
