Check out the adult education classes that may be available at the various high schools in Alton, Wolfeboro, Gilford, and Laconia, as well as those at the Lakes Region Community College.

If she's interested in crafts, such as felting, basketry, jewelry making, etc., The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen offers workshops. This would be over in Sandwich or Meredith. I believe they take a break from classes in the winter and start up again in spring.

You might try Sandy Martin in downtown Wolfeboro. She has a nice gallery and private studio as well, overlooking the lake and is very pleasant to deal with. (603) 569-9890
