Default Help for Go Pro internet access

My children set up a go pro camera as a Christmas present but because I spend winters in Fla I put my internet and TV on seasonal charge. However, they had to turn the internet and TV on at a cost of about $60 per month plus $10 for GoPro. In order to set up the camera Metrocast said they have to turn on both TV and internet. Is there any other way in Meredith to get my camera up and running. We have thought about using Skype and adding another camera to my Verizon account but that would require adding data on that phone at an increased monthly cost over the $10 to just add a phone. Metrocast is the worst company to work with They are just like the airlines. In the old days I could just call and they would turn cable and net on from the office. Now they want to come to the pole and turn it on and charge when you are not even at the lake. There must be a lot of Meredith customers with this problem and maybe the town officials who control who has tv and internet should help out.

You could most likely get a better deal using a cellular hotspot.

Depending on size and frequency of image uploads, 2GB/mo. should be plenty.

Not sure I understand but are you saying the Gopro is being used as a live cam at your house? Never heard of that use for one. Sure would be a lot cheaper cams out there for that use. I didn't think my Gopro would be useful for that.
