I have never done the ride to Castle in the clouds. I will be heading there from the Squam lake area on trail 15 heading east through Moultonborough. Where do I go from there?
Are there any good places along the way to stop for lunch? ![]() |

depending how you go there's two places you can stop. If you come over red hill, there's the country kitchen right off the trail when you cross rt. 25 or you can go to the Bob House. Not sure if you can get to Buckys on 109 yet though. Trails were fair last night.... we need a little more snow so the groomers can get out...

We did get out and groom corridor 15 to the Castle lot last night. Red Hill was done this morning. Both came out pretty good overall, but we could use a bit more snow so we can start to process and cut moguls.
Please note that you cannot get to the Castle itself via snowmobile. That access stopped when the LRCT took over the Castle. You can still go to Shaw Mountain overlook and go to Ossipee, but that is the only trail open to sleds (along with Red Hill) |

You go over Shaw mountain and into Tamworth/ossipee and it is on the trail. Lots of snowmobiles parked trail side.
