Official 2015 Ice-Out Thread

I checked our Skype cam this morning and Wentworth cove is ice free.

What a difference a day makes! I'll be on the island and fishing next weekend!!

What Merrymeeting said...East facing shorelines are in the crosshairs for ice damage. Hopefully today's sun and breeze helps.

The ice went out in Green's Basin (the northwest tip of the lake) today and thus far we have seen one loon. It is almost time to call the marina for our boats.

From Lincoln Park on Belknap Point today. A small amphibious plane landed and took a short ride on the water.

Still ice to the north and in the Broads. Clear from Glendale out past FL26, still some slush in the main boat launch ramp. Smith come mostly clear, some ice at the neck.

Meredith Bay view from Grouse Point. Big changes since Saturday afternoon and some big mobile pieces of ice out there.
