Default Welch Finally

Clear of ice from Fay's to Welch today. It was great to be able to look across to Belknap Point from Welch.

No ice damage at our camp nor did we see any damage walking two camps north and south.

Default Chestnut Cove is clearing

View from Brookwoods Conference Center in Alton. This was full of ice a couple of hours ago. Though not quite clear.... it is gettin' there!

I think we could have ice-out on Merrymeeting sometime around sunset today. The few remaining ice packs are being gently pushed by the wind into the northern coves, breaking up, and disappearing quickly.

We seem to have had an almost perfect ice-out this year. With a few exceptions (like picture post in "Ice monster awakens" thread), the ice has receded/melted in place, and what little movement there was has been relatively gentle with no large ice masses slamming into things.

Despite the bitterly cold winter, and some with doubts, Mother Nature has once again delivered an average time ice-out.

Yep, going fast, I've been watching the Wolfboro cam and that seems to be where it is going.

Default Winnisquam

I have not seen any ice on the big part of Winnisquam since early yesterday morning. My camera looks south east towards Laconia.
Sorry can't do pics from work.
