Trexlers rents a 17 foot Alumacraft that's pretty good for fishing. It's only has one season of use.

Our new place is on Hermit Lake (10 hp limit). Our circa 1960's Arkansas Traveler with a 6hp is great but I want to do some real boating in a couple weeks when we're up.
I'd like to rent a boat for an afternoon. All day is probably too much for the kids. Does anybody highly recommend a marina or maybe even where to steer away from? Don't mean to hi-jack your thread but thought it was relevant enough. ![]() |

I've rented from Goodhue Hawkins and Channel Marine. Both had great boats and service.
