El Mariachi
Made the mistake of having dinner at El Mariachi tonight. Just wanted a burrito and a drink. The burrito cost me $14 and the drink cost my $10! The bartender measured my grey goose and successfully poured an ounce of alcohol into my $10 drink. I watched her do the same thing for the next 11 drinks that she made. The burrito was ok. Not worth the $14 however.
Will not be returning. Used to be a regular at their location in Wofeboro......but have times changed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We have eaten at El Mariachi many times and always been happy. Best authentic Mexican food in the Lakes Region we have found. Perhaps you should try the new Taco Bell? Their burritos cost less than $14.

Yeah your funny. Why would I do that when I can go to El Jimador in Belmont and get TWO authentic Mexican burritos for $10?? And a real cocktail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We live 3 mins. from El mariachi.
When we go out for Mexican. We drive right by it and go another 30 mins. to El jimador |

We are from Phoenix a place well known for great mexican food. We went to El Mariachi once and were very disappinted. Thought the food was bland. We dont eat Mexican often while at the lake as we know we will get our fix when back in Phoenix but when we do we will go to El Jimador. It's the closest we find to what we can get at good neighborhood restaurants in Phoenix

I have not eaten at El Mariachi, but their other restaurant in Wolfeboro 'El Centenario' leaves a lot to be desired...
When we crave mexican, we take a 30 minute drive to La Corona on Rt. 11 in Rochester - in the 50's style silver diner, which has great food and great service. It is close to the big box stores and grocers, so that's a plus too. |

puebla
We like their sister restaurant el centenario. The owner is from Puebla, so we stick to dishes from that region like the tinga poblana. I'll agree that their enchiladas and burritos aren't that great so we skip the baja and sonoran style dishes. The chiles en nogada and tacos al carbon are great though. Can't comment on the drinks as I'm usually drinking either beer or sipping tequila
