No from when we got there early much before dark we circled the waterfront and saw there were two platforms for the fireworks. On smaller size and then a very large barge loaded with cannon blasters. The smaller barge or raft was the first show and then the large barge took over. Amazing display for over 45 minutes of continuous fireworks display. If I remember correctly, last year's show included a short welcome by the host that said something about a friend or family member being responsible for the first show, and then the "professionals" being responsible for second show.
