Unfortunately before we know it our docks etc. will have to be removed from the lake. I am looking for someone that performs that type of work. Any suggestions? I have used various people over the years, but I have noticed recently that many companies don't want to be bothered with a single homeowner.

John Baxter, trade name JB Dive Services in Gilford. 603-630-1968. Awesome guy. I have a crank-up dock and mooring. Puts them in in the spring and takes them out in the fall. As a diver, he can actually inspect the mooring, chains, etc. I don't know if he takes care of boat lifts, as I do not have one, but definitely docks and moorings. Highly recommend him.

After getting quotes averaging about 1k (in and out) I decided that buying a good wet suit, plus one additional person, along with 2-3 hours of my time is saving me a ton of money. In another 5-6 years I'll have saved enough to rid myself of my wood dock and I'm going to put in a crank up.
