The last few (recent) posts confuse me...Apparently soared over my head as usual.

I understood through Barney Bear's thread (Baygo owns Tavern 27 and has thoughts of expansion perhaps).

Not sure on outdoorsman's- the place is for lease, Phantom passed on the news. The problem with written words is that they lack inflection.

This was correct however I have commited to another plan. All goes well and it'll be open by May.

Default The creative forces behind Tavern 27...

Have already done a lot to expand the culinary credentials of The Lakes Region.

I anxiously await their plans for May 2016!

Yes major, I should share the plan but, not quite yet. I believe there is a competitive edge to part of it. If you need something to go with; trust I'll be taking the burger and prime rib war to a new level

My plan may have encountered a little derailment. Sorry for any hopes I may have inflated. If anybody knows an available breakfast chef please send them my way and I'll be able to get back on track.

The plan centers around a breakfast and lunch place to feature the ultimate $5 burger and a prime rib sandwich.

No that is not the location. I heard rumor that was associated with The Common Man.

I was hoping for a pub with good food. I like the Common Man restaurants, but was hoping for something slightly less expensive and with a big bar area.

I'll bet you can, but I'd make a bigger bet that you enjoy being served one more

The place on the corner in Meredith is going to be called The Lakeview Tavern (at least that's what the sign on the building says). From what I understand it has nothing to do with the Common Man.

I can cook omelets as well, and always thought I would love to work in a restaurant kitchen. That is, until I started cooking omelets at our monthly breakfast buffet, and then found out the two hour prep, and flipping pan cooked omelets for about 3 and a half hours, once a month, was just about enough.

My hat (chef or ball cap ) is off to all those who slave in a kitchen, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Back to Baygo and the thread.
