Plum Crazy Pizza
My wife and I just enjoyed a leisurely stroll thru Meredith Village and happened by the new pizza shop next to AJ's soon to be called Plum Crazy Pizza. They were advertising their special of the day, a gourmet "Mac & Cheese" pizza. We went inside and met one do the new owners, Paulie, who once worked as a chef at the Canoe. In short, the pizza was incredible and we highly recommend it. Paulie explained to us his new signs will be out soon and he promises a menu of gourmet options that sound really fun. You may just want to try this place out. It was excellent!

The pizza at plum crazy is awesome. If you like buffalo chicken you have to try it. The special with carmalized onions is great to, I forget what he calls it.

Wife drove by this morning and reported it still looked like Village Pizza. Anyone have a phone number? Are they definitely open for business?

If someone has a menu or if someone is going there, would love to see the menu uploaded. They have a Facebook page but no menu listed. Thanks

sub
got a steak sub this weekend. Steak was good and the roll was fresh. The bottom of the roll however was saturated with the grease/oil from the steak, not good. Like eating wet bread. I could never be a duck. Will give it another chance

Excellant
Ate there this afternoon. All I can say is excellant pizza. Met one of the owners, Paulie, great guy. Homemade sauce, homemade dough, fresh ingredients. Hands down the best pizza I have had in the area. They were even nice enough to let my wife and I sit in the resteraunt with our black lab so he didnt have to sit in the truck.
I cant wait to go back. Excellant food!! |

Plum Crazy pizza is awesome! We stopped Friday night to pick up two pizzas after calling from route 104. The pizzas were hot and the staff was very welcoming. We got to the house in Moultonborough, unloaded the car, poured a glass of wine and enjoyed the best pizza we've had in a very long time!
We hightly recommend the French Dip pizza and the Shrimp Scampi pizza. They were both delicious, with plenty of toppings...no skimping in any way!We chatted with the staff about the mac and cheese pizza, and let me tell you, they made it sound so tempting, it will be hard not to order it the next time! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up from two very happy diners!

Nice to see new owners in there that are friendly and that it's good. I went there a couple of years ago (not sure what it was called was then) and I could see that they were busy with a big order. So being a patient person, I waited and waited and waited, but nobody even acknowledged me or said we'll be right with you. After 10 minutes I said forget it, went across the street (leaving my car in thier lot) and got something else to eat.

Recent visit
Visit yesterday afternoon around 1pm with the grandkids. I am not impress at all! One gentleman actually sitting on a stool in back of the counter taking the orders. He will not sit up to face the children and treat them like adults. I had to repeat everything they said because he would not stand up to face them. After the order, he went about to make the subs alone, while another gentleman sit behind the oven. It was about 15 minutes to make a cheese steak, ham & cheese and meatball sub! The missus notice he was not wearing gloves while preparing the sandwiches.
We split all the sandwiches with the grandkids as they as well as the adults don't eat much for lunch. The gentleman behind the counter showed displeasure regarding splitting the orders. I had to ask twice for extra paper plates. The ham taste and look old. Normally I would expect lettuce and tomatoes but there was none. The meatballs and sauce taste like it came out of the can, and probably so. The steak and cheese was smothered with cheese and I notice a small portion of meat. Maybe it was a bad day and the owners are away? Maybe so, but I will not recommend the place.

They also make great hot subs (chicken parm, ect) If I'm on the other side of town, it's Louie's Famous Pizza to go...(Rte 104) If I'm exiting Rt 104 and picking up to go home, it's Rossi's Pizza. You have to have a strategy for your pizza cravings! |

I heard that their landlord wouldn't renew their lease. So they are supposedly looking for a new location.

Landlord wouldn't renew the lease, gave them very short notice. That's her prerogative I guess but I don't get it. Why throw out a paying tenant? Bigger plans for the building I guess.
