Have to wonder if a bald eagle will go after a grey squirrel for something to eat?
It sure seems that in the past two years, ever since a bald eagle has made a huge, tall pine tree two lots away from me, a regular stopping spot, all the local grey squirrels have become invisible. They have either gone missing or are in hiding or something? The grey squirrels used to be very present due to the big supply of acorns here. I used to catch the squirrels with a have-a-heart trap, and then drown it, but now thanks maybe to this one local neighborhood eagle the squirrel problem has been eliminated? About two weeks ago this one eagle stirred up a whole flock of mallards that were floating out on the lake, and the ducks all took off in a big hurry.....it was like a duck stampede with maybe 40-ducks in two packs.

(Don't)-Have-a-Heart-Trap....???
I used to catch the squirrels with a have-a-heart trap, and then drown it,
I guess the above action makes it a "Don't-Have-a-Heart" Trap...??? On a related note, one of my brothers, who lives on the border of OH and KY, says that the locals out there regularly eat squirrel all the time! |

.....that's correc-timundo.....and the squirrel sized www.havahart.com costs about 16.95 at your local hardware store, and it can last for many years. Do not think that Wal-Mart or Lowe's has the havaharts......u have to go to a real hardware store.

I appreciate them at home every time they help me focus in the pellet rifle! seriously I really don't mind them just that they keep the bird feeder occupied what seems like all day long! They don't eat and leave they hang around and hand around - ugh...
