Best vacation spot for New visitors?

If you are looking for a small cottage 'Yacht Club Vista' in Gilford is nice.
I rented there years ago with the family and had a great vacation.

They have cottages directly on the water, boat slips, and a great view of Saunders Bay. Not large units but similar to Ames Farm setup, with beach right there in front.

If you have a boat I believe the slip is included, at least it use to be ?
Conveniently located in the center of activities dining, shopping, etc.
