Jigging for lake trout
Hi everyone! Wondering if anyone has jigged for lake trout to any success in recent years, my old man and other sources of wisdom have never even tried it and im curious about it. I know right now wouldnt be the ideal time for it seeing that the trout are spread out, but im too curious to wait! Thanks!
P.s 18 years young! we are the boathouse at the mouth of salmon meadow cove if anyone knows where that is |

Jigging for lake trout usually takes place in the fall when the lake trout are stacked up in certain deep areas during pre-spawn. Those areas are held closely to the hip and for YOU to find. Half the fun is finding those "deep" spots...
