Do the following to see if a program was loaded on your computer that brings up a window that says you are infected:

1. Open your “Control panel”
2. Click on “Programs and features”

See if a new program has recently been added that you don't recognize. It should be at the top of the list. Uninstall it if it appears to be the one.

Some good advice here, but the webmasters' is the way that I would proceed given your predicament.

The issue they are seeing won't show up here. It is either buried in their cookies or as a browser add-in. The earlier advice to run CCleaner and/or Malwarebytes will most likely fix it.

(Jason, while it would fix it, your suggestion might be a bit extreme to fix this one, and doing that is often beyond the abilities of the average user)
