			Yes, you just have to pass through Brandy Pond (which is to Long Lake as Paugus Bay is to Winnipesaukee) to do so. There's a fixed height bridge that most boats will have no trouble with between Long Lake and Brandy Pond. Then there's a low clearance swing bridge just upstream of the lock that opens in conjunction with the lock opening. The bridge and the lock are both manually operated and very fascinating to see in action. There's a convenient ice cream joint next to the swing bridge, so if you have to wait for the bridge/lock, you can get a nice treat.
