I just joined the forum this week. I go by your shop every weekend to get to my house on Lake Waukewan. I've seen the cars there a few times. I hope you have it again next season. I have a 67 Corvette but I haven't brought it up to my house in Meredith yet. I will keep an eye on the forum for next summer.

I'm thinking of retiring soon and maybe moving up there full time. What kind of money could I make working part time, maybe 2 or 3 days a week, just to keep myself busy? What do they pay per hour in that part of NH? I have 45 years experience in Auto repair, the last 30 in business for myself.

I am probably not the best to answer this question, I am in sales, not the service end of the business. There are many small shops around, probably a few that would be happy to have a "fill in" or part time guy!

I attended my first 'cars and coffee' with my son-in-law last Saturday in Wallingford CT. It was not just about antiques and classics, it was about all things with wheels! Lots of tricked out late model vehicles as well as antique/classic has showed up. Even a food truck serving coffee and breakfast!

I say about 50 cars showed up, give or take as some arrive early and left early and some arrive late and left late.

The comradery was excellent! I can't wait to attend one nearby!

For more info, www.finnsgaragenh.com Also look for our ads in the Laconia Daily Sun. This season for more consistency the Cars and Coffee event will be the 1st Saturday of the Month, May- Sept.

The link just worked for me. FINN'S is on Waukewan St in Meredith.....closer to the Rte 104 end of the road.

While our largest presence is in the online community. Our Base of operations is visible in that google earth photo, the garage across from the arrow that says 181 Waukewan. Just off rte 104, 3rd building on left.

We are easy to find just off Rte 104, on the corner of Waukewan and Village Way. Follow the signs off 104. Dan the toy drive is explained in the Events page of the website www.finnsgaragenh.com But the readers digest is, I am collecting toys that will be donated to the Annual Lakes Region Children's Auction. Last year we donated over $500 in toys, and presented a check for an additional $500. I would like to beat that this year!
