Happy Groundhog Day!
Phil saw his shadow this morning so there will be six more weeks of winter! Perhaps that leaves enough time for the lake to freeze. |

On the other hand, Staten Island Chuck, the local groundhog did not see his shadow. Let's hope that means that here in the northern NJ/NY area we will have an early spring, but maybe NH will still have a chance for a real winter season. I'm beginning to wonder if the ice fishing derby will even occur on the weekend of the 18-19th. Those of us who are doing the snow dance are either falling down on the job or haven't learned the right steps for 2006!
