Default Happy Groundhog Day!

Happy Groundhog Day! Phil saw his shadow this morning so there will be six more weeks of winter!

Perhaps that leaves enough time for the lake to freeze.

Default Conflicting reports

On the other hand, Staten Island Chuck, the local groundhog did not see his shadow. Let's hope that means that here in the northern NJ/NY area we will have an early spring, but maybe NH will still have a chance for a real winter season. I'm beginning to wonder if the ice fishing derby will even occur on the weekend of the 18-19th. Those of us who are doing the snow dance are either falling down on the job or haven't learned the right steps for 2006!
