Back to the deer on the unsafe ice story . . .
Right now a beautiful example of a Golden Eagle is in possession of the deer carcass with a Bald Eagle waiting. The Bald Eagle is getting impatient and keeps dive bombing the Golden. What an interesting sight to see! As for the ice itself, it is making a great deal of noise and ice ridges are forming all over. There are large chunks of ice pushed up onto the ice. I'm watching my area so I know where to slow down when and if it is ever safe to go out there on a snowmobile. Think Ice! Think Snow!
