The quality of the food at Local Eatery is (IMHO) the best in the area. I don't recall ever leaving hungry; the portions are reasonable, but not huge. They had a duck and pasta dish a month or so ago that was more food than I could finish.
There are a number of restaurants in the lakes region with relatively small menus and little change. We find it difficult to patronize them frequently as the menu gets boring unless there is an overwhelming favorite dish. Local Eatery has a rotating menu which keeps the selection fresh. As you can probably tell, it is our favorite restaurant in the area when we are going higher end. Jetskier ![]() |
