WMUR Had a brief news blurb that they have a new episode airing tonight.
They (WMUR) also (mentioned / interviewed) that C.O. Lucas would be featured in this new episode. Some info. Season 3, Episode 1 http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/north...ntrol/1047459/ Last edited by Top-Water; 01-07-2018 at 09:19 AM. Reason: add link |

They had a launch party this week down in Hooksett. A lot of the F&G officers were in attendance. It’s cool to see them enjoying themselves. I enjoy the show. Sent from my iPhone using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |

I was not a fan of the Maine version but maybe its just the NH angle that I now will watch. Hauling a 280 lb deceased man off of Washington was quite a feat in an episode this weekend as an example.

Great coverage of John Cooley of the Loon Sanctuary team (located in Moultonborough) tagging a loon (in Coos county as I recall). These folks work hard to preserve the iconic cry we all love in the night. Great to see them covered in the show.

That was pretty cool to see, but.... I was thinking to myself "should this be shown on TV?" I would never have known the best way to capture a loon had I not seen this on TV. Not that there are people trying to capture them, but still, some things are better left unsaid.

Capturing a loon by a nonprofessional would be very difficult. The biologists do this tagging every year. They do it to keep track of the loons and to study them. I watched Northwoods Law and i thought it was very acceptable to show it. I have been watching loons for over 60 years and I am so glad that The Loon Preservation Committee exists to save our loon population.
