I just noticed I have a whole bunch of empty and broken eggshells, aluminum foil that has been used, and many empty containers - I am headed back for a refund. I'll bet that this summer the gas in my boat will magically disappear - the gas dock is going to have to replace it for free!

I buy all my TP and paper towels there. I wonder if I can return the cardboard spools and say there wasn't enough paper on them? |

Yes, Walmart doesn't seem to question returns. Prior to retiring, I worked for a couple of years as quality manager for a company that manufactured better quality electric blankets. Walmart was our lowest end, but highest volume customer. Per our contract, each blanket returned to them by a customer was shipped back to us and my company had to give them a full credit + return shipping + a fine + absorb the cost of inspecting, destroying, and disposing of the blanket. We inspected and tested every return. The majority were perfect; there was nothing whatsoever wrong with them (didn't match the curtains, maybe?). It wasn't rare though to open a return and find an old, worn out, often filthy blanket that wasn't even our product, often not even electric. Didn't matter. My company still had to pay (which, of course, means that you the consumer have to pay). That's business in the age of Walmart. |

It's all about volume today. Make 100,000 items sell 1/2 at full price, another 1/4 at 20% discount, then pawn the rest off at steep discounts until there all gone with maybe 10% returned and trashed for whatever reason Sent from my SM-G950U using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |

Evidently Walmart is doing pretty good, especially since the Orange Man gave them billions of dollars in tax breaks.

Rusty, you should like your stocks since Trump has been in office. If I recall, you were thrilled with Obama's stock market, so what about Trump's?

And passing it along in raises and bonuses, apparently...it’s quite uncanny how the “left” (and the lamestream media) just refuse to give credit where due.

| Senior Member | .... Porsche and Walmart!

....just saw this thread ..... sorry about my slow reply ..... but, you know what......tomorrow morning early, methinks I'll load my deceased $19.94 Christmas tree into the back of my $67,600 Porsche Cayenne and go return it to the Plymouth Wal-Mart ..... the plan is to turn around with the new money ...... and go head for the Tire-Lube-Express and go for a 19.88 oil & filter change into the Porsche.... Porsche and Walmart ...... two quality names that work for me! ......thinking ahead here ...... so, how do I return the oil change, 5000-miles down the road?

	 | Good Luck Returning It ...

Except maybe for Christmas trees, there's actually a blessing to be found in "used-returns". In December, I searched for—and bought—a Ryobi pressure-washer on the secondary (used) market for less than half of a new one. Except for some wear on the margins of its plastic wand tip, it has performed even better than my former gas washer. It even arrived with new wheels. Did you vote? |

Trump doesn't know what the word respect means. Why should we respect him? I'm thrilled that he's making my IRA's grow but respect is not about making money, it's about human decency. He's our President and I'm hoping for good things for our country but he needs to reign in the name calling and Twitter barbs! He should lead by example and the example he is setting is not in the best interest of our children and grandchildren.

If you approve of what comes out of the presidents mouth that's your problem not mine. I don't particularly like it! I don't know Rusty and unless he runs for office or becomes famous in some way, neither will my kids or grandkids. So I really don't care what comes out of his mouth. | Funniest post ever... Quote:
I think Trump should be given half as much praise from the left as Obama got from the right in his first year. And we all remember how much that was. You see, since Trump took office the S&P 500 market index has risen about 21% in his first year. Which is almost precisely HALF of the % rise enjoyed in Obamas first year in office. So....you should search real hard to find all the credit the right gave to Obama in his first year and divide that by 2 (half). But be warned, dividing 0 by 2 will give you an error.
