How about the golden Horseshoe on Meredith Neck. I think it was near Spindle point or on Pitchwood Island. I was probably 8 yrs young and recall going there by boat (1928 C/C Cadet " THE SIX T'S) from Birch Island with my relatives. Fun time. It was pizza and spaghetti place with red and white checkered table covers and an illuminated Golden Horseshoe was the sign.
