Haha--as a kid who grew up in Malden, I had the same thought!

But I posted for two reasons. First, it did have lots of factually correct details on many less well known beaches, such as the more idyllic Popham, recommended by another poster. Second, Revere Beach is the home of Kelly's Roast Beef--their fried clams alone are worth the trip!!! (at least if it's dark out)
