I have a 5 hour drive and don’t shop on my way up because it’s usually very late at night and they are closed.

There isn't enough land to accommodate the store and the necessary required parking on the theater lot in Gilford. Although, it would be nice to see something go in to the new and improved building. The owners spent a lot of money to improve the building and pave the parking lot and with the amount of vacancy in the building it will take a long time to recoup the investment. (Although I would pass on the new color)

It will be difficult for the Gilford area to support another grocery store within a half mile radius of 3 other stores selling groceries. The Tilton Shaws couldn't make it when the people in the area had multiple choices and I would think the same would happen in Gilford.
