Very true but unfortunately not much we can do about that, the law is the law and applies to everyone. Hopefully the draw of this boat would keep it from getting too close. Just enough to admire but not close enough to annoy.

Anchor in front of my beach, you will be annoyed at what emanates from my shore.

Only once in the 52 years that we have had our place on East Bear Island has a boat anchored in front of us. ⚓️

Shenanigans can cover a pretty broad range that may make you reconsider anchoring there: torpedoes, mines, strategically placed rocks, air rifles that shoot soaking wet tee-shirts saying "how's that for emanating", agreements not to emanate if you vacate, underwater drill for punching holes through your boat, and lots of other creative emanations. I'd rethink your strategy
