Major General James Wolfe came to the area to bring war to the French in Québec. Since he disembarked a British ship in Québec, he is highly unlikely to be credited with building roads (even in Québec).

He never saw New Hampshire—or even Wolfeboro —a town that was named in honor of his major accomplishment (in war).
