That sandbar is terrible...we love it during the week but never on the weekends...too busy at the channel, way too much boat chop, steep drop offs and soft sand...fts...

Inside at least one row of boats, it calms down a bit and there's no drop-off. We like that there's much less detritus than the other sandbars, the depth is consistent, and, most of all, it's not loud or obnoxious like Braun Bay. It's also the closest sandbar to us.

In biology, detritus is dead particulate organic material. It typically includes the bodies or fragments of dead organisms as well as fecal material. Icky!
