Looks like the Cider Press recently had a more formal opening. Curious to know if anyone has eaten there recently and how it was. I plan to go during the holiday break

My wife and I had dinner there two weeks ago and it was fantastic. The service was great. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. We will be back soon!

What a beautiful renovation! The owner of Nolan's evidently hired an amazing contractor who gutted the Cider Press interior and made it a very welcoming place. I'd never been inside before last night.
There are copper counters, a copper bar, a lot of wood, homey touches, and just lovely decor touches in all of the rooms with that monster fireplace refitted with a wood stove insert. Our server was lovely and my husband and I were both pleased with our choices: he had the wild mushroom risotto, and I picked freshly made linguine with white clam sauce. Nice portions, nice ambience, and we ordered two Bailey's to sit with in front of the fireplace after dinner. Every Friday night will have live music, and most of the tables were filled at 6:30pm. We'll be returning for sure. |
