No doubt, the NH zero/nada/no sales tax probably drives people from Massachusetts to buy it at the Gilford-Lowe's and avoid the Massachusetts 6.25% sales/use tax. Our "no NH sales tax" is factored into your local property tax bill that you get every three months. Was somewhat surprised to see an Ariens Compact-24" snowblower, reg price $899, selling for $450 because it had been returned by a recent buyer and needed a repair. It was basically a brand new machine selling for half price ..... a steal of a deal. Gilford-Lowe's does some good business, know's what they are doing, helps the area, and has freebie courtesy coffee in a luxurious styrofoam cup, made fresh every fifteen minutes! Will they replace a watch battery for you ....... YES ......Lowe's service desk will replace your watch battery for free if you mention that fatlazyless sent you in there .... yuuh .... yuuh ....yuuh! .... ![]()
