I used to have a Providence Journal paper route in Warwick, RI.

From Rhode Island, quite the long drive! Massachusetts...meh...

Entering New Hampshire, the roadways were heavily shaded back then.

After three hours of flickering bright sunlight through the trees, we turned onto our dead-end Wolfeboro Neck road, entering three more miles of a dark and green "tube" of still more trees until we reached our little and quiet paradise.
