I don't remember security, metal detectors etc at previous shows, but they had one this morning and confiscated my pen knife. I'm not sure which boat they thought I could hijack. As a follow up, I went to South Station to take a bus north. No visible security whatsoever, except repeated PA announcements about no smoking and free 15 minute parking.
