The sad, but true, facts are that this type of scam, and others over the phone and the internet, are becoming more prevalent as the COVID-19 situation continues There will be calls about the stimulus checks (if not already), and pleas from organizations wanting money to help victims (and I don't mean to be a hardnose), so, watch out!, be extra careful on the internet and the phone. If you have any suspicions, call your local police.
