I think it looks beautiful, and I’m not a fan of the color black! I would not have spent any more money either, if you’re planning on selling. Better get it on the market soon, before prices start tanking.

We have been staining a lot of things black lately. My kids think it's a morbid sign of the times.

When I bought my first house the deck was stained black.

It was very consistent in its shading.

I was impressed by the stain work the sellers had done.

Two year later it started to rot, everywhere.

It turns out that a deck made of kiln dried framing lumber is easier to stain than one made of pressure treated lumber!

First houses...everyone needs at least one.
