Four Seasons - December, 1963 (Oh What a Night) - seems odd, but a great song on the water

Allman Brothers - Blue Sky

Jimmy Buffet - Margaritaville, Scarlet Begonias, Southern Cross, Fins, Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes

Forgot first album. Supertramp, Breakfast in America. There were 45's before that, though!
Greatful Dead.....I need to dig in there a little more. I only have a few songs by them. Good tip thanks!

Default Music

Being a long time musician, I am honestly having an issue right now. The band, Bend the Ride, had a Great schedule heading into the spring/summer. Now we can't even rehearse together. Henry is doing a pretty cool thing playing on the net, but for me it's pretty lonesome. Playing music in front of an audience has been something I have done for the last 50 years and get Great enjoyment out of.

So Please once this get's somewhat back to normal, Please support your local clubs and especially musicians !

Thanks,
Bill

My first album: Black Sabbath, "Black Sabbath" (studio album)

memorable songs

Black Sabbath "Paranoid"

Aldo Nova "Fantasy"

Todd Rundgren "Hello It's Me"

The Flock "Uranian Sircus" (ah, psychedelics: much enjoyed, much missed: there's no feeling quite like a head full of acid) see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU25BzG6U30

Side note and trivia: For many years no one knew who made this because it was an ilegal bootleg no one wanted to put there real nane on it. Made in Canada by Michel Gendreau ... thousands and thousands of these were made but at the time he got very little credit for putting it together.

1. Benny Goodman
2. Dorsey Brothers
3. Herb Alpert
4. Glenn Miller
5. Hi los
6. Kingston Trio
7. Lester Lanin I could listen 24/7
8. Pete Fountain.
One of our favorite things in summer are the Saturday evening concerts at Cate Park.....some really excellent music.
Hope this one goes through.

I graduated High School in 1980 so yes, I know every song on there but I haven't heard that mix. Sounds like the Napoleon Dynamite dance mix.

Help! by...really? I have to tell you who did that one?

In My Life... by see above.

Here There And Everywhere... by see above.

So Far Away... by Carole King.

Eighteen... by Alice Cooper.

My first album comes with a story:

My dad had an appointment with a retina specialist in Boston and took me along.

My job was to help him drive home to CT during the rush hour with dilated pupils.

Because I was only thirteen that task was limited to yelling "RED LIGHT! and LOOK OUT!"

Yes, we made it home alive and I had a new LP.

While dad was getting his eyes inspected with a 3 million candle power searchlight I wandered the streets of Boston looking for a record store.

Finding the record store was not quite as hard as finding my way back to the doctor's office but I made it.

I surfed the record racks looking for an album with the latest hit song from T-Rex titled "Get It On."

I found what I thought was it but noticed that there was no playlist on the album's exterior.

Wanting to be sure before parting with my 99 cents, I opened the record's sleeve for a peek inside.

At that very moment a voice from behind gruffly said "I suppose you will be buying that one!"

"Of course!" I responded" as I brought it to the register.

99 cents plus tax later, I was the proud owner of an album that not only did not contain "Get It On" but one that was so uninteresting that I've forgotten its name.
