Default Little River Band

Back in 1983, Little River Band did an HBO concert from the Melbourne (Australia) Concert Hall with their relatively new lead singer John Farnham who had taken over for former long time lead singer Glenn Shorrock.

The concert is widely acclaimed to be one of the best ever, if not the very best, concerts. I video taped the concert while watching it on my TV and created a cassette tape so I could play it in my car on trips to the lake. I later created a CD of the concert.

It took me almost 20 years before I saw them live at a little venue in Plymouth, Mass. They were great even though the line-up had changed.

Here's one of my favorites from the Melbourne concert. Be patient as there's a great 2min 12 sec guitar solo as a lead-in:

Wow fantastic. Just watched it. Thanks for that. I love seeing those great old live performances. Thanks God they're preserved on You Tube. Another amazing concert is Chicago in Tanglewood Mass in 1970. The whole concert is great but here's one that stands out. Watch Terry Kath on lead guitar at 3:25. Starts Jammin'. Can hardly contain himself. Absolutely fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pizRRft3_8Y
