Anybody have an update from last nights meeting? Will Alton be turning on the water north of the bridge this week, or delaying it again?

This message was forwarded to me by the Alton Water Works. FYI, around 3 hrs ago there was a notice that they were working on an emergency water problem on rte 11 from Letter S to the Dockside.
Dave At yesterday afternoon’s Emergency Management Meeting, the following was decided upon for the seasonal water customer accounts: · Seasonal customers that are on the permanent/year-round lines are to be turned on this week. (The week of 5/4/20) · Summer water on East Side Drive is to be turned on next week (The week of 5/11/20) · Summer Water on Route 11 will be turned on the following week (The week of 5/18/20) · Levy Park water spigot will remain off. The Emergency Management Director will be creating a publication today with more detail regarding these tiered water line turn-ons. This notice will be posted on the Town’s website on the home page on the Water Department page as well as Alton Water Works’ Facebook page. Any questions regarding the summer water schedule should be directed to Ryan Heath, Emergency Management Director at (603) 875-0757
