Also, I wanted to add that anyone traveling from the north down to DC can also get off in Delaware and take this beautiful scenic route and avoid Baltimore City and come over on the Bay Bridge and continue on to Washington. When we lived in Middletown, Delaware, we used to visit my daughter at college in DC and we always took this route. It’s absolutely beautiful.

A great alternative! May be slower, but at least you can stop for a sandwich and relax.
