Well, I used to say it was from our dock. But I think upthesaukee nailed it with "where you are at the lake at sunset."
Case in point: this one from the bow of the Mount.

Some nice shots in this thread! Here's one from the middle of Moultonboro Bay, looking out over M'boro Neck, with Red Hill and the Sandwich Range to the north.
