Default Just a thought

Just a thought. When you are out and about on the lake, and have a chance to observe wildlife, please give them space.

If it's eagles, observe then from a distance. Don't stress them, especially if they are sitting on a nest or raising a hatchling. If the same thing happens again at Hull Island, they'll move again, and this time, you may not be able to see them.

Ditto for loons. We're would anchor about 125-150 yds from a floating loon nest. While floating next to the boat, the loons would swim over by us, 30 ft or so. We'd just sit there and let them do their thing.

Social distancing, on steroids!

Dave
