Your smugness at the closing of a thread that merely displayed free expression of thought (regarding a candidate who is NOT of your choosing) is typical and reminiscent of liberals who want to squash all thought except their own.
Don did what he had to do to keep the website centric to “the lake” but your immediate approval of what he did is revealing...sad.

You have a real issue with projecting.

Thankfully, I missed the offending posts.

This liberal agrees with you that thoughts should not be squashed. But I hope that you will reflect on some of your earlier posts. When you say that vegans in restaurants should not be welcomed or assert that Donald Trump is the only thing saving us from Socialists, you are also chilling the free exchange of ideas by demonizing all your opponents with a single brush.

I have nothing against vegans but I do have a problem with socialism.
If you are correct that I said something against vegans I wish you would point it out to me as I cannot recall ever having said such a thing...

I agree with Ben Carson when he said people need to get over themselves and stop being offended by every thing.

Virtually all Americans have a problem with socialism. Even Bernie Sanders has a problem with socialism, and he (incorrectly) calls himself a socialist. (You'd think he'd be disciplined enough to use a dictionary.) When you paint all Democrats as socialists, it shuts the conversation down because nobody wants to defend socialism.

Here's the vegan quote. Maybe I was too picky to allude to it. But when you say their food shouldn't even be on the menu, it's telling them they are not welcome.

Well, I’m glad you agree about the vegan food, however, I would never wish anyone to be excluded from any establishment regardless of the menu.

There's a quote on the Internet directed to Venezuelans:

Quote:
"You can vote yourself into Socialism, but you have to shoot your way out."
...and before "shadow-banning" hit social media, this powerful image may have appeared some morning eight years ago:
