Heater in small, lake boat:

Wonder if lobster boats that work in Maine and Canada ocean waters use cabin heaters like the Finland made, Wallas kerosene heater?

With the cold ocean water doesn't their lobster boat get very cold pretty much all rear 'round, plus they probably are out on the job for hours, or some extended time.

Just like headlights or a horn, cars are required to have a heater/defroster in New Hampshire, but not an air conditioner ..... so's the legislature needs to mandate that every boat in NH must have a kerosene heater, too.

Hard to install a kerosene heater on a Sailfish or canoe.

This reminds me of a tale: this avaricious fellow acquired a new-to-him kayak, and wanted to try it out on a cold day. He placed a boat heater on the floor, which in short order, melted through the hull and promptly sank the vessel. That goes to show, you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

Heated wet suit vest; do a search for 'heated wet suit vest' which have a re-chargable electric heater and they cost from $100-$200, designed to be worn either alone or under a windbreaker, wet suit or dry suit ..... how's about that ..... a heated wet suit vest.

Maybe they make one that's a combination heater and massage, in a wet suit vest

The Rip Curl H-bomb heated wetsuit vest ...... sounds like powerful heat.
