a funny story...
My brother-in-law's wife is a North Carolina native. When he brought her here for the first time, she had 3 comments on Winnipesaukee:
1) "Oh my God...I can see my feet when I step in the water...!" 2) "You mean there are no leeches and snakes in this water...??" 3) "This water is soooo cold!" (and it was July) We are all very fortunate to have this beautiful resource to enjoy and call home. |
