NHEC has been very responsive to restoring power to the islands in the winter over the last few years. Mainland will always come first as people are living in those homes. The islands are more susceptible to damage from wind and heavy snow in the winter due to their exposure. Almost all of the island were out with this last storm and power has been restored to 99%. Not offended. Just informing people that there are better places to get information faster and without putting up with politics and trolling and mean responses seen here. First time I checked this forum in a long time. Used to be great 10 12 years ago

It looks like we are down again. Online it states that they are doing tree work on the island, hopefully we will be back up later.
