Friday Night
Crazy ride over for us around 7:00 pm. It was not too bad leaving Alton, but when we rounded the end of the island it was unreal. Well over five foot swells. It was strange in that there were not so many white caps. Just enormous swells. Unfortunately my husband was not with us, but our sons handled everything perfectly. I was very thankful and proud.
Saw several boats go by later that were having much trouble. Glad that this kind of weather doesn't happen all the time! |
